Mike’s Mortgage Blog

I was born and raised here in Pocatello, Idaho.  Except for a brief, 2 year period of time I lived in Spain, I have lived all of my life here.  I graduated from Highland High School and from Idaho State University.  My bachelor degree is in business finance.  Since 1996 I have been working in lending and began working in mortgage lending in 1998.  It has been exciting to watch and be a part of a decade of mortgage lending.  One of the best parts of my job is the chance it gives me to help people. Financing a young couple’s first home, consolidating someone’s debt to improve their budget, or giving advice on a person’s credit are the fun parts of my job. 

When I am not working, I love to go fly fishing.  Eastern Idaho is home to some of the best fly fishing in the world and it is all in my back yard.  I also enjoy golfing, camping and playing basketball.  I have a wonderful, supportive wife and three awesome kids.
